Handbuilt Bike29 Royale Custom 29er Wheelset

Bike 29's "house" wheelset, we build more of these than anything else. Each Royale Wheelset is custom built to order, with your specificatins. The Royale 29er wheels are not just the ultimate in decadence, they are a high performance wheel system that reflects your personality.

Based on the options you select, build the Royale wheels as modest or as outrageous as you can imagine. Multiple spoke options allow you to tailor these wheels to your exact needs and desires. We offer multiple front and rear axle configurations, our wheels are compatible with all makes and models of frames and forks. We take Stan's Crest, 355, Arch or Flow rims, and lace them to the ultimate hub, you guessed it, the King ISO Disc. 

For these we wheels, we use DT spokes and nipples, regarded by most as the best available. The build is 32 hole 3 cross, for a perfect balance of light weight and strength. Each wheel is finished with Yellow Tape and Stan's Valve stems, allowing you to either use Stan's tubeless system, or run standard inner tubes. As a bonus we also include a pint of Stan's sealant with every wheelset.

As with all of our in house wheel builds, we take the utmost care in ensuring that each wheel we build will hands down be the best wheel you will ever own. Each wheel is meticulously stressed and re-tensioned several times during the build process, before being wound up to it's final perfectly round, straight, and evenly tensioned state.

Because of the custom nature of our handbuilt wheels, actual delivery time is dependant on component selection and availability. Please contact us to discuss options for your wheels.

We recommend the following guidelines when selecting your options:

• Stan's Crest rims for riders <170 lbs
• 355 rims for a trail set up for riders <180 lbs
  
• 355 rims with Aerolite spokes for a race-specific set up for riders <170 lbs
  
• Arch rims with Super Comp spokes trail set up for riders <180 lbs
  
• Arch rims with Aerolite spokes for race-specific set up for riders <200 lbs
  
• Arch rims as trail or race wheels for riders <230 lbs
  
• Flow rims for riders <260 lb
